we think it's a lovely base for staying in inverness. we had a pleasant view from our room. we really loved this place.
-
Our favourite hotel in Inverness, staff was helpful. In general, the property was very clean. Great place for celebrating birthday. And it's not very far from downtown. Lots of very good food, we truly enjoyed it.
-
Free parking is easy and good location. 10 minute walk from the town centre and proximity to shops
-
It was near the city centre and the building was nice
The shower didn't work properly, it was or too cold or too hot and impossible to regulate. The wi fi connection didn't work in my room and nobody did anything to solve the problem, I was just said to use the connection in the common space, which is not as confortable as using it in your own room, especially if you need it.

Location of hotel is good, staff friendly.
Badly in need of refurbishment Public rooms and bedrooms although did see into one room that looked as though it had already been upgraded and it did look nice, but Room 10 which I occupied and Room 2 which my cousins occupied were very tired to say the least.
-
Very friendly, good food, fairly convenient for shopping, pleasant surroundings and comfortable bedrooms with character.
-
Lovely hotel, lovely room, very helpful staff who smoothed over one or two teething problems when we arrived. Hotel very centrally situated. Food excellent. Reception staff most attentive. Loads of parking within grounds.
-
Friendly Staff, nice breakfast, good location
room was comfortable but not cleaned properly. The carpet had not been hoovered and there was a previous guest's sock in the wardrobe - so that hadn't been propeerly checked
-
The friendliness of thr staff and the meal in the restaurant
The only thing I didnt like was the fact there was not a mirror in my room to be able to dry my hair properly There was a mirror in the bathroom
-
It was comfortable and friendly. The food was good and it was in a convenient location.
There was some traffic noise.
-
Breakfast, evening meals and bar
No change of towels without complaining. Didnt empty room bin and replenish tea and coffee
-
Dated, shabby, in need of a makeover. . Very high price for poor accommodation and poor service. Unfriendly welcome from a scary, barking dog!
-
I stay in hotels frequently and cannot remember being so dissapointed previously. This was my first and last trip to this hotel. My main objection being the quality of the room in relation to the price. In my opinion it wold be best described as a guest house.

Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions etc
It was an exceptionally hot day (for Scotland!) and the windows seemed to have been painted shut, and there was no air con! Wasn't back until late in the evening though, so it didn't matter that much - but still a point loser for them.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The facilities were very quaint and quite unusual compared to other hotels I have visited.
